How To Do Asp.net 2.0 Website Hosting Using Windowsxp Sp2 And Iis 5.0?

I’ve already read many tutuorials over it.But still my local IIS 5.0 is showing problem while opening “.aspx” pages of mine website.I’ve already tested IIS by simple HTML pages.During debugging ASP pages are working fine by opening a random port on localhost.Where am i mistaken?Help plz

    Have you used the “asp_regiis.exe” tool and restarted IIS? http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library…
    Also, check to see you have correct permissions for the ASP .NET worker process. For a run down on permissions in general, check out this link:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815153/

    I’m no professional in this area…
    But recently I’ve been tasked with looking into upgrading our website and i found microsofts visual studio 2008 web express edition ( FREE! ) anyhow.. when you install it it basically runs a server off your workstation.
    It gives you the option of .net 2.0 or 3.5 and you can upgrade older pages I think.
    Anyhow you should goto microsoft, or google 2008 web express and dl it and try it out.
